Using the AI Agents Hub
Feature Guides
The "AI Agents" nav item has two tabs — Companion and Reading Mentor. Both are personal features, unrelated to any club.
Companion tab
Pick one expert or author persona (literature, self-help, children's books, etc.) and start a 1:1 conversation. Once started, that conversation stays pinned to that agent — it does not switch mid-thread — and is saved so you can continue anytime.
Reading Mentor tab
- Reading Coach — encourages you to finish books.
- Memory Mentor — helps you write Feynman cards.
- Book Curator — recommends what to read next.
- Reading Buddy — discusses the book's content with you.
Triggers like finishing a book or stalling out are not handled instantly — they go through a background job queue, so a mentor reaching out first may take a moment. The two tabs cross-recommend each other ("try talking to this agent too"), and ongoing conversations show a badge.
Without an OpenAI API key configured, the hub automatically falls back to offline demo replies, so you can always try the feature.
